“INTERNAL FREEDOM” TRENCH COAT
Created by Timothy Freeny, this interactive trench coat project invited community members to engage directly with the artwork by altering a trench coat using fabric markers, paint, scrap fabric, and scissors. Attendees were encouraged to explore themes of self-identity and personal expression, contributing their unique touch to the evolving piece. As the coat transformed through collective participation, it became a living archive of individuality, reflecting the diverse perspectives of those who engaged with it. The piece highlights the power of community in shaping art and meaning.
